Session 1: GESTURE & FORM
In GESTURE & FORM, you’ll explore capturing energy and movement, gaining confidence through line, and inciting shapes as an essential development of the figure.
Session 2: VALUE & VOLUME
VALUE & VOLUME, the inseparable essential twins! This session will guide you to explore the properties of light and dark through chosen materials, revealing the 3-dimensionality of volumes’ capabilities of height, width, and depth!
The Artist
Sunmi is an author, illustrator, cartoonist, and zinester whose body of work explores emotional distances and gender deviant fantasies within a framework of queer + Korean histories and mythologies. Their debut young adult graphic novel Firebird was published with Harper Collins in 2023. Their passion continues to branch independently through publishing zines and comics.
